CIG is a Canadian telecommunications consulting and systems integration company formed in 1998 to specialize in knowledge and technology transfer from North America to the emerging markets worldwide. CIG's expertise includes telecommunications regulatory policies, business practices and next generation technologies and products.

CIG has two business units:

The Professional Services business unit provides expert consulting in areas that are of key importance to telecommunications regulators and service providers in emerging markets: Regulatory policy and framework; Business and market planning; Network & Operations planning; Training and mentoring all of these areas.
 
CIG provides customers with independent and objective telecom and IT advice. CIG helps its customers to establish effective and profitable business based on the latest techniques, technology and administration policies.

The Systems Integration Reseller business unit focuses on complex sales of NGN products from different companies. CIG selects companies with advanced products, but without developed sales infrastructure in the targeted market and fills this gap by becoming reseller of their products. By selecting a set of related products, CIG provides systems integration and one-stop solutions to our customers.
 
CIG arranges a local presence for product installation and support, and also helps companies to obtain product approvals/certification in the targeted market.
